Obituary of Guadalupe V. Duenez

Guadalupe V. Duenez - December 2, 1926 – January 2, 2021. Our beloved mother, Guadalupe V. Duenez (94) passed away at her home on Saturday, January 2nd, 2021 with her family at her side. She is preceded in death by her husband Antonio G. Duenez, son Felipe V. Duenez, parents Manuel Villarreal and Gregoria Mendoza Villarreal, sisters Estella V. Estrada and Maria V. Trevino. Left to cherish her memory are her sons Emilio V. (Lucy) Duenez and Antonio V. Jr. (Maria) Duenez, daughters Delia D. (+Adolfo) Ramos and Lydia D. (Pedro) Ramos, sisters Refugia V. Zuniga, Olivia V. Stephens, Antonia V. Longoria, Francisca V. Lopez, Cristina V. Bocanegra, Dora V. Medina, Evangelina V. Garcia, Avelina V. Cortez, and brothers Manuel Jr, Reynaldo, and Jose Villarreal, (15) grandchildren, (28) great-grandchildren and (9) great-great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. A Special thanks to Hector, Ida, Maria, & Ruben of Gracia Hospice for their excellent attention and care provided for their mother. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 7th, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 pm at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. Chapel services are scheduled for Friday, January 8th, 2021, at 2:00 pm. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. Burial will follow at Las Yescas Cemetery in Las Yescas, Texas. Honored to be serving as pallbearers are Jose Duenez, Gabriel Duenez, Pedro Ramos Jr., Adolfo Ramos Jr., Eric Duenez and Luis Ramos.
