Pedro C. Vela, Jr., 44, of Port Isabel, Texas, entered into eternal rest on December 16, 2020 at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas. Pedro Jr. was preceded in death by his mother, Monica Cisneros Vela; paternal grandparents, Juan and Genoveva Vela; and maternal grandparents, Francisco and Monica Cisneros. He survived by his father, Pedro G. Vela Sr.; a son, Skalor Vela; 3 daughters, Elizabeth (Cesario Nunez) Rivera, Tory Vela and Teresa Rivera; 2 grandchildren, Javier Reyes and Adel Reyes; and 1 brother, Paul (Bianca) Vela; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Port Isabel, Texas followed by a burial of ashes to Port Isabel City Cemetery.
