Antonia Soria Perez [Born February 22, 1939 died Dec 10, 2020] Died unexpectly. She will join her granddaughter Talisa B. Cruz, mother Remedios S. Perez, father Augustine Perez, sisters, Jovita Rangel, Lupita Reyes; and brothers, Jose Perez and Juan Perez. Born in Rio Hondo, Texas she worked as a field worker for many years before going on to study nursing at TSTC. After graduating she began work at Valley Baptist Medical Center, a hard worker she was praised by many for her work ethic, finally retiring after 32 years of service. She was loved and adored by many; family oriented and was easily pleased with the simple things in life. Always had a smile and her face and enjoyed being silly and laughing with everyone. She enjoyed restaurants, going church and taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. These are just a few things of so many that describe her gentle soul. She is survived by her daughter Sylvia Perez and sons Jose Enrique Perez, Jesus P. Ramos. Her Grandchildren: Nelda M. Quintanilla, Julian Espinosa III, Justin E. Perez, Joseph D. Guerrero, Brittany N. Guerrero, Paul A. Cruz. Brian A. Perez, Esmarie K. Perez. Her Great Grandchildren: Mychael Ortiz, Azbree Ortiz, Zaybree Ortiz, Colten Ortiz, Kendall Espinosa, Greyson Guerrero, Kenneth Garcia, Darryl Garcia, Tyler Garcia, LJ Perez, Delia A. Perez, Brian A. Perez Jr. Anika D. Perez, Aarron I. Perez, Krystopher A. Perez, Her surviving brothers and sisters: Ramon Perez, Anastacia Perez, Augustin Perez, Robert Perez, Jesse Perez. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020, beginning at 5 p.m., and will continue until 9 p.m., with a prayer service to begin at 7 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. A Chapel service will be held on Tuesday, December 22, at 2 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with burial to follow at San Benito City Cemetery. Due to current restrictions, this establishment will follow the 25% occupancy limit and all persons shall institute social distancing of a minimum space of 6 feet apart.
