Jorge Claudio, 62, of Bowling Green, Ohio, entered into eternal rest on December 2, 2020. Jorge was born and raised in San Benito, but later moved to Ohio, the state where he and his parents were once migrant workers. Jorge loved to work on his truck, relaxed by working on his yard, and especially loved to cook, his specialties were his refried beans and jalapeno poppers. He was a big fan of Ohio State, and the biggest fan of the Dallas Cowboys, he would often be found on a Sunday ready to catch a game to root his “Boys” on. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Luz L. Claudio; and by a son, Jorge Claudio, Jr. Left to cherish his memory is his companion of many years, Kristen Danner: three sons, Juan Alberto (Amanda) Claudio, Andrew Lewis (Clarissa) Claudio, and Raymond (Mary) Claudio; his siblings, Joel (Elida) Claudio, Gracie C. (Alejandro) Puente, Norma C. (Roberto) Benavidez, Yvette C. (Ruben) Lorows, Michelle C. Luna, Ramon (Bonnie) Claudio, Tony (Patricia) Claudio and Claudia C. (Jose) Martinez; and numerous grandchildren, and other relatives. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 14, 2020 from 4 p.m., until 9 p.m., with the recitation of the holy rosary to begin at 7 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. A chapel service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, December 15, at Thomae-Garza with cremation to follow.
