Please share a memory of Anita to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
With profound sadness we announce the passing of our loving and devoted mother Anita G. Casas, on December 8, 2020. She left us sleeping peacefully surrounded by her family at home. She was 88 years old. She was born in Austin, TX, to Pedro & Zulema Gonzales.
She lived a full life as a wonderful and dedicated mother & home maker. She raised 8 children & helped raise her grandchildren. Her treasure was her family. Her favorite place was to be at family gatherings full of food fun and laughter. She loved to cook, garden, and do crafting. She loved listening to music. Until her health conditions made it impossible. She loved dancing.
Her life was a living example of the Bible Verse Ephesians 4:32 “ And be kind & Compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God, Christ, forgave you.”
She will be dearly missed. Mom, your memory will live in all of our hearts forever. Special thanks to her provider(granddaughter), Jessia Perez for caring for her and never leaving her side. Also, special thanks, to Walk In Faith Agency & Safe Haven Hospice care. She is preceded in death by her parents; Pedro and Zulema Gonzales. Also her son Santiago Casas III, and a grandson, James D.
