Santita Torres Cruz, age 54, peacefully parted from us on November 25, 2020. She was born April 8, 1966 in San Benito, TX to *Salvador & Maria (Rodriguez) Torres. She was a housewife and in her free time she enjoyed chatting with friends, shopping, & spending time with her loved ones. She had an easy way of reaching people in a deep and positive way. Her presence was always noticed when she entered a room. Her laughter was something that would make anyone’s day. She will be deeply missed by her Husband Pete Cruz Jr. her daughters Yvonne, Crystal, Valerie, & son, Jessie. Her grandkids: Janeizy, Jarizel, Keeya, Ebany, Roberto, Jestany, Jesarrae, & Aralynn. We are certain that she will be greeted in heaven by: her parents Salvador & Maria & Her brothers Santos & Jose. She was preceded in death by her mother Maria R. Torres, her father, Salvador Torres, and her Brothers: Santos Torres & Jose M. Torres. Surviving her are her husband Pete Cruz Jr. and children: Yvonne Torres Crystal M. Cruz Valerie A. Cruz & Jessie Cruz Brothers and Sisters: Emilio Torres, Yolanda Benavidez, Luis Torres, Angie Guerrero, Salvador Torres, Janie Guerra, & Olivia Torres. Grandchildren: Janeizy A. Carlos, Jarizel L. Vasquez, Ebany I. Carlos, Keeya M. Ramirez, Roberto Ramirez, Aralynn R. Pizano, Jestany A. Cruz, and Jesarrae A. Cruz. Due to current COVID restrictions, this establishment will follow the 25% occupancy limit and all persons shall institute social distancing of a minimum space of 6 feet apart. All individuals must wear face coverings or masks. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 3rd, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 4th, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Texas. Interment will follow at Las Rusias Cemetery.
