Obituary of Aaron David Castillo

Please share a memory of Aaron to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
On November 14, 2020, Aaron David Castillo, at the age of 28, died unexpectedly two miles west of Clute Texas, in a catastrophic accident early in the morning as he traveled to work. Aaron David Castillo was born on November 19, 1991 in Brownsville, TX. He was the second oldest of four children, and has two sons whom he loved dearly. Although Aaron spent his time initiating his self-taught carpenter skills, Aaron’s profession consisted of trades such as: an electrician and certified welding inspector (QC) which he was proud of to have accomplished. As a young child he was known to be very active, care-free and mischievous. Having fun was always a part of his life. He enjoyed fishing, drawing and collecting random rocks to name a few hobbies. He spent his time building unforgettable, heartfelt memories with his partners in crime, his siblings. Aaron loved washing his mongoose bicycle quite often after riding it in them mud. He would imagine riding a motorcycle around the block when he would crush a can with the wheel of his bike, creating a motorcycle-like sound. As a kid, he always attempted to take care of his brother and family. Aaron loved his brother! Aaron graduated from Los Fresnos High School where he participated in soccer, football and powerlifting. Playing sports was his passion and through these experiences he acquired many relationships. Peers always knew him to be funny, outgoing and never failed to present a contagious smile from ear to ear. After high school he pursed architectural engineering school where he aspired to build his own home. Aaron moved to Freeport around his mid-twenties where he strengthened his bond with his father’s side of the family. Playing pool and being amongst his family and friends fulfilled him and made him happy. He was always willing to help anyone in need especially his loved ones. His family remembers him dressing up for any occasion, always had on a dapper shirt, an engaging smell, a flashy watch that accompanied his outfits with a buck knife on his waist. And of course, he couldn’t forget his gold diamond ring and Cuban link necklace. He either dressed up with his cowboy boots and hat or dressed down with his iconic timberland boots. Aaron prioritized his family and valued them to the fullest. He would always make time to help others even when he was struggling with his own. Aaron left this life inspiring many people because of his unique and loving traits. He lived his life to the fullest with no regrets. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. Rest in heaven our king, we will soon meet again.
