Amalia F. Jasso 80, beloved wife, mother and grandmother went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 14, 2020 in Harlingen, Texas. She was born on July 26, 1940 to Pablo and Dolores Flores.
Amalia is preceded in death by her late husband Tomas Jasso and her parents Pablo and Dolores Flores.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Tomas Jr. (Graciela) Jasso , Juan (Erika) Jasso, Irene Jasso, Rosalinda (Gerardo) Moreno, and Florinda (Armando) Correa. 1st grandchild Cynthia (Ruben) Avalos (who she raised). Also 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Cynthia Avalos, Sarah Nicole Herrera, Irene Trevino and Amber Amalia Jasso, Tomas Jasso III, Ramon Trevino, Erlu Trevino Jr, Jonathan Jasso, Vicente Correa, and Armando Correa III.
Amalia was loved by many. She will be greatly missed.
Due to current restrictions, this establishment will follow the 25% occupancy limit and all persons shall institute social distancing of a minimum space of 6 feet apart. All individuals must wear face coverings or masks. (May include bandanas or sewn or cloth face coverings).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
A chapel service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas a burial will follow to Naranjo Cemetery in El Ranchito, Texas.
