Jose Francisco Calderon, 59, a longtime resident of Port Isabel, Texas, passed away September 17, 2020 in Brownsville, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Guadalupe Calderon Sr. and Jova Hernandez; one brother: Louis Carreir; and one sister, San Juanita Hernandez.
He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Francisca Calderon; two daughters: Faith Jovita Calderon and Fatima Calderon; one son, Francisco J. Calderon; one brother: Guadalupe “Lupe” Calderon (Katie);and one grandson: Zayn Seven Turner-Calderon. 2 nephews and 1 niece.
Due to current restrictions, this establishment will follow the 25% occupancy limit and all persons shall institute social distancing of a minimum space of 6 feet apart. All individuals must wear face coverings or masks.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
Visitation will resume at 1:00 p.m., with a funeral mass to follow at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church located on 606 W. Ocean Blvd in Los Fresnos, Texas. He will be laid to rest at Port Isabel City Cemetery.
