Natividad Gutierrez Saldana 92, a resident of Los Fresnos passed away September 20, 2020 in Harlingen, Texas. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years Catalina Saldana as well as one son Guadalupe Saldana. He is survived by his twelve children; Socorro (Felix) Perez, Martha Bautista, San Juana Saldana, Maria Antonia (Rafael) Gonzalez, Yolanda Walker, Esteban (Juana) Saldana, Rosa Maria (Joe Reeves) Saldana, Rogelio (Maria) Saldana, Caridad (Scott) Reed, Ernesto Saldana and Abel R. (Teri) Saldana: thirty four grandkids, sixty seven great-grandkids and five great great grandkids as well as two siblings; Juana Herrera and Teresa (Doro) Villegas. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., with rosary at 6 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. A chapel service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, October 1, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church with burial to follow at Los Cuates Community Cemetery in Los Fresnos, Texas. Due to current restrictions, this establishment will follow the 25% occupancy limit and all persons shall institute social distancing of a minimum space of 6 feet apart.
