Artlette Hailie Castillo, 3, of Port Isabel, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas. She was always full of joy, always had a smile, and made sure you knew she loved you. She had a big heart. She was preceded in death by her big brother Reynaldo Sanson Alvarado Jr.; and maternal grandmother Maria Guadalupe Zamora. Artlette is survived by her mom Larissa Nicole Zamora; her dad Arthur Castillo Jr.; two sisters: Evalette Nikole Sosa and Rayelette Cataleya Alvarado; three brothers: Amaziah Rayland Alvarado, Juan Carlos Castillo, and Jordan Castillo; maternal grandfather Jose Santos Zamora; paternal grandmother Maria Lupe Castillo; and paternal grandfather Carlos Martinez. Due to current restrictions, this establishment will follow the 25% occupancy limit and all persons shall institute social distancing of a minimum space of 6 feet apart. All individuals must wear face coverings or masks. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 14, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae Garza Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S. Longoria Street in Port Isabel, Texas. Interment will follow at Port Isabel City Cemetery.
