Micaela R. Alanis, 60, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on September 1, 2020. Micaela R Alanis was born April 20, 1960 in Ejido Victor M Buena San Carlos, Tamaulipas, Mexico. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister. She walked in faith and loved our Father God to the end. She was a strong, wise, faithful, and loving to all people. She was a woman that impacted many lives by sharing the word of God, and the love of God to all. She was preceded in death by Jorge Ivan Alanis. She is survived by her husband, Aurelio Alanis; her son, Aurelio Alanis, Jr.; daughter, Brenda Alanis; her mother, Maria Elicerio Zavala; siblings: Miguel Elicerio, Nora Elicerio, Juan Elicerio, Reyes Elicerio, and Juana Gonzalez; and grandchildren: Ivan Alanis, Leander Lopez, Estrella Lopez, Victoria Lopez, and Amaris Lopez. Due to current restrictions, this establishment will follow the 25% occupancy limit and all persons shall institute social distancing of a minimum space of 6 feet apart. All individuals must wear face coverings or masks. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home. A chapel service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Thomae Garza Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
