Rolando Mendoza Jr., 25 of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2020. Our Rollie was an all in one kind of person, he was a great son, brother, father, and friend to all types of people. He knew a way to get along with everyone from good and bad and leave an unforgettable memory to all. Rollie was one that will try to do anything for anybody, “I’M THE MAN” he’d say. He had so much love for his kids and family that he would express it in his own way from annoying to funny he was there for us all no matter what the situation was. Rollie loved to work and get his hands dirty never one was afraid to try anything he didn’t know but he knew it all. The art, music, books, and movies are what he looked up to the most and it is what defined him into being unique. He is Forever in our hearts and will always be remembered and loved. Until we meet again. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Juan S. Delgado. Rollie is survived by his loving wife, Cristina Gonzales; two daughters, Mozart Artemis Mendoza and Monet Lily Mendoza; mother, Margarita Delgado; father, Sergio De La Cruz; siblings, Lluvia De La Cruz, Zamara De La Cruz, and Sergio De La Cruz Jr.; maternal grandmother, Maria D. Delgado; and his uncles, Juan Delgado Jr. and Jose Lopez. A visitation will begin Friday, August 7, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. A chapel service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2020, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home and cremation will follow. Due to current restrictions, this establishment will follow the 25% occupancy limit and all persons shall institute social distancing of a minimum space of 6 feet apart.
