Baudelia A. Alaniz, 94 of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020, in Harlingen, Texas. Baudelia was born November 19, 1925. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was a God-fearing woman that had love for everyone. Nobody ever left her house hungry. She was always willing to help everybody. She made time for her plants that she loved. She is preceded in death by Aucencio Aguilar, Carlos Aguilar, Angelina Aguilar, Lydia Garcia, Maria Rodriguez, and Vicenta Perez. She is survived by daughter Estella (Manuel) Olguin and son Armando (Marisela) Alaniz. She is also survived by her sister Amelia Gaona. In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren: Deyanira Olguin (Nicholas Jimenez, Jr.) Juan M. Olguin, Jr., Hector Olguin, Dynora O. Hernandez (Jose Hernandez), Jesus Olguin (Lucy Mendez), Ashley Ibarra (Carlos), Armando Alaniz Jr., and Amy Alaniz. Great Grandchildren: Deya Olguin, Jadyn Olguin, Isabella Olguin, Joshua Olguin, Dynora Olguin and Camilia Olguin. A visitation will begin Thursday, July 30, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. A chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 31, 2020, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home and burial will follow at San Benito Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas. Due to current restrictions, this establishment will follow the 25% occupancy limit and all persons shall institute social distancing of a minimum space of 6 feet apart.
