To Ramiro's Family:
My name is Andy Welch. I grew-up in San Benito, and my Dad owned and operated Welch Chevrolet, where Ramiro worked for many years.
I know that my Dad always felt that Ramiro was one of his best employees: loyal and dependable. As a young man and a teenager, Ramiro was always so kind to me -- always taking time to show me something about the car that he was working on. Or just to visit about what was going on in my life.
In recent years, my Dad and Ramiro would see each other at the San Benito Walmart, and visit about the "old days."
I was sorry to learn of Ramiro's death, and I wanted you to know that he was a find, hard-working man. God bless his soul.
