Francisco Robles, 90 of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2020. Francisco Robles, Sr., a well known and admired San Benito, Texas businessman, was the embodiment of the American Dream and worked hard his entire life and founded Robles Auto Sales in San Benito, Texas. His greatest joy was the love he shared with his beautiful wife Guadalupe, to whom he was married 61 years upon her death, and his two daughters and seven sons. He is preceded in death by his spouse, Guadalupe Ortega-Robles; and his sons, Simon Robles and Pablo Robles. Francisco is survived by his children, Ignacio Robles (Christina), Maria Elena Robles-Trevino (Victor), Ursulo Robles (Tammy), Francisco Robles Jr. (Henrietta Welk), Jose Rene Robles (Sandra), Guadalupe “Lupita” Robles (Fred Gonzalez), and Daniel T. Robles (Linda); daughter-in-law, Soledad Zozaya Robles; 16 grandchildren, Liza Robles, Angelica G. Robles, Chriselda Robles (Adrian Gonzalez), Victor Tizoc Trevino, Vicente Cuauhtemoc Trevino, Ursula Palomo (Brandon), Anna Veronica Robles, Sandy Jo Tucker (Chris), Karin Dulce Robles (Jose Clariond), Jose Robles, Renee Robles, Dr. Felipe de Jesus Cortez, Jesus Cortez (Trinity Moher), Maritza Sarai Robles, Daniel Robles II (Bonnibel), and Graciela Herrera (Jonathan); 22 great grandchildren, Belize Robles, Sofia Robles, Lauren Hernandez, Anjolie Hernandez, Carolin Hernandez, Desiree Torres, Roman Torres, Haley Torres, Raydyn Torres, Christopher Gonzalez, Leia Palomo, Lucas Palomo, Leilani Mena, Cecily Mena, Jonathan Tucker, Emily Tucker, Natalie Ann Tucker, Audrey Tucker, Vyla Rose Trevino, Adalyn Trevino, Danielle Herrera, and Rose Herrera; and his siblings, Fr. Tomas Robles, Roque Robles, and Maria Robles. A visitation will begin Friday, July 31, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. A chapel service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2020, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home and entombment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park Mausoleum in San Benito, Texas. Due to current restrictions, this establishment will follow the 25% occupancy limit and all persons shall institute social distancing of a minimum space of 6 feet apart.
