Beatrice R. Flores, 82 of Port Isabel, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her family Beatrice was a lifetime resident of Port Isabel, Texas and a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Before hanging up the phone, she never failed to tell us she loved us. She was our prayer warrior and always prayed over her family. Her favorite hobbies were puzzles and crossword puzzles. We will hold her in our hearts forever and she will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Flores, granddaughter Cynthia Santos, two brother Lorenzo Rosales, Lupe Rosales, grandson Adrian Flores and one sister Lydia Johnson. Left to cherish her memory are her loved ones Sandra (Jerry) Troncoso, Dora (Jose) Del Rio, Frank (Elvia) Flores, Arnulfo (Mary) Flores and Nina (Javier) Calvillo. She is also survived by her siblings, Delia Garza, Juanita Chavez, Ramon Rosales, Margarita Rosales and Lole Thibodeaux as well as ten grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Visitation will begin Wednesday, July 15, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas, A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Port Isabel City Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Jerry Troncoso Pedro Gonzalez, Jose Del Rio Jr, Jose Del Rio, Frank Flores, Arnulfo Flores, and Arnulfo Flores Jr. Due to current restrictions, this establishment will follow the 25% occupancy limit and all persons shall institute social distancing of a minimum space of 6 feet apart.
