Maria Guadalupe Torres, 73 of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020, at her residence in San Antonio. She is preceded in death by her father, Jose Reyes Torres Pardo; her mother, Juana Oliva Ibarra; her lifetime partner, Jose Infante Jr.; and three sisters. Maria is survived by children, Juan Jose Torres (Lorena) and Leticia Torres; grandchildren, Nayeli Amanda Torres, Ezekiel Joseph Torres, Joe Villarreal III, and Briseida Villarreal; four brothers; and two sisters. A visitation will begin Wednesday, July 8, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. A chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2020, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home and cremation will follow. Due to current restrictions, this establishment will follow the 25% occupancy limit and all persons shall institute social distancing of a minimum space of 6 feet apart.
