Obituary of Jose Reta

Jose G. Reta, 74, of San Benito, Texas, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas.
He is preceded in death by two children Alma Rosa Reta and Rolando Reta.
Jose is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Francisca Reta; and eight children: Juan Antonio (Maria) Reta, Jose Guadalupe (Felicitas) Reta, Martin Reta, Maria (Fernando) Mendez, Sara Reta, Eduardo (Carmen) Reta, Saul (Janie) Reta, and Diana (Helaido) Huidobro. He is also survived 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 and Wednesday, April 11, 2012 from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. with a holy rosary at 7:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.
Mass will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 10:00 am at St. Benedict Catholic Church in San Benito, with cremation to follow in accordance to his wishes.
