Obituary of Mario Ramon Aguilar

Mario Ramon Aguilar, 58, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2020 in Laguna Vista, Texas surrounded by his family. Mario served in the United States Airforce and was honorably discharged.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Raquel Perez Aguilar; maternal grandparents Bonifacio Perez Galan and Josefina Robaina; and paternal grandparents: Ambrosio Ramon Aguilar and Isabel Trujillo.
Surviving Mario are his two daughters: Lynzi (Scott) Schneider and Lyzet Aguilar; one grandson, Wyatt Dean Schneider; his father Orestes Ramon “Mongui” Aguilar; his brother Mario Roberto (Lilliana) Aguilar; his nephew Bobby Aguilar; and his niece Ariana (Alex) Sanchez.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S Longoria Street in Port Isabel, Texas.
Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas with military honors to be conducted at the graveside by VFW Post 2035 of Brownsville, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers: Mark Haynes, Jed Dixon, Joe Ricco, Greg Laznovsky, Noe Garcia, and Bobby Aguilar.
Due to current restrictions, this establishment will follow the 50% occupancy limit and all persons shall institute social distancing of a minimum space of 6 feet apart. All individuals must wear face coverings or masks. (may include bandanas or sewn or cloth face coverings).
