Julia H. Diego, 80 of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, in Harlingen, Texas. She is lovingly survived by her five children, Jorge Luis Diego, Andres Diego, Dora Lee De La Cruz, Maricela Cantu, and Miroslava Rodriguez; 27 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; and 7 great great-grandchildren. A visitation will begin on Friday, May 1, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and will continue Sunday, May 2, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas and cremation will follow in accordance to her wishes. Due to current restrictions, this establishment must follow the 25% occupancy limit of 50 persons or less and all persons shall institute social distancing of a minimum space of 6 feet apart.
