Marcelino V. Carrizales, 78, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2020. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, San Benito football, Dallas Cowboys, and spending time with his family, but his first love was watching crop dusters working the fields nearby as he worked in the field as a kid. He started his flying career in 1962 and walked away an accomplished Ag pilot in 2005, working all over the country applying his trade, whenever he was in his beloved Ag Cat, he and the aircraft became one. Marcelino is preceded in death by his wife, Daisy Mae Carrizales; daughter, Angelina Carrizales; father, Guadalupe Carrizales; mother, Andrea Carrizales; sister, Elva C. Perales and brother, Reynaldo Carrizales. Left to cherish his memories are his children, Marcelino R. (Mary) Carrizales, Anisa C. (Fidel) Barrera, Maricela De La Fuente, Criselda (Danny) De Leon, Javier Carrizales, and Rene De Leon; 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; as well as his brothers and sisters, Aurora Villanueva, Candelaria Galvan, Dora Carrizales, Angie (Carlos) Barrera, and Guadalupe (Liz) Carrizales; along with several cousins, nephews and nieces.
