To the family of Mrs. Stone, please know that she touched many people everywhere she went. I remember first meeting her at Fred Booth as a mom, and then again at Ed Downs as a fellow teacher. She always had a smile, and it grew even bigger when I would ask for the twins and her daughter. I even found out that she had helped people with getting their citizenship and work on their GED. But, that just reinforced my opinion of her kindness and willingness to help others.
May her kindness and her willingness to help others be an example for all of us to follow.

Mrs. Stone will be dearly missed, her smile and always ready to give you a hug. I met her at Ed Downs Elementary, she loved all her students so much and worried about all of them. You rest now with God who welcomed you with open arms in heaven. The last few times I talked to you was at Pizza Hut and you had Fox with you, you cared so much for him and his well being. We will miss you.

We consider ourselves blessed to have had Ms. Stone in our lives. She was always a friendly face as a coworker and very generous. Later she became teacher to our children and I was so relieved to know our son was in good hands when we dropped him off in her classroom. She has touched so many children's lives. More than she ever knew in her lifetime. We will miss you. Thank you for being a light in our lives.

Ms.Stone was my kindergarten teacher back almost 20 years ago. She always told me that I could do anything I set my mind to, and to this day I still hold those words so close to my heart. She was an amazing teacher who cared so much for her students and I will miss her dearly.

I had the honor of working with Elvira at Ed Downs. She really did light up the room when she walked in. She always made those around her smile or laugh. She loved hugs! I will always have fond memories of her. There's no doubt that she is in full glory in Heaven keeping the party going. My condolences to her family. May God bless you, Luis Gutiérrez
