Leonarda F. Garcia, 89, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother went to be with the Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 in Harlingen, Texas. She was born on February 6, 1931, to Pablo and Dolores Flores, in Brownsville, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Juan Garcia; and her son, Juan Antonio Garcia Sr.
Left to cherish her loving memory are her 6 children, Dionicio Garcia of Weslaco, Lupe (Alicia) Garcia, Sr., Dolores (Manuel) Trevino, Adelaida Garcia, Maria Teresa (Marcos) Sandoval, and Jesus (Cristina) Garcia, Sr., all of San Benito; 14 grandchildren, Laura (Higinio) Abrego, Jennifer Garcia, Juan Antonio Garcia, Jr., Andrew Garcia, Lupe Garcia, Jr. (Tracy), JoAnna (Jeremiah) Salazar, Eric Garcia, Harley Devin Garcia, Arthur Dean Garcia, Marco Antonio Sandoval, Matthew Sandoval, Paul Garcia, Bianca Garcia and Jesus Garcia, Jr; 2 great grandchildren, Ian Alexander Abrego and Jeremiah Savian Salazar; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A private service was held.
