Ana was the 1st person to welcome me when I began my 1st job out of law school in Fall 1977 as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Corpus Christi. She was the one who calmed me down on the opening day of my 1st campaign HQ in my 1st contested race in Spring 1990. I was thrilled and so very proud of Ana when she quit as head of both Nueces County HR & IT to pursue her PhD. She was not only brilliant but kind as well. Please accept my sincerest and deepest condolences.
