Rex Alan Cateora, 60 of Port Isabel, Texas, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2020. Rex was a lifetime resident of Port Isabel and a volunteer fireman with the Port Isabel Fire Department. He was also a past member of First United Methodist Church of Port Isabel. Rex is preceded in death by his father, E.W. Cateora; mother, Myrtle Evans Cateora; and brother, Michael Lynwood Cateora. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Coty Cateora; nieces, Coty Galvan and Anna Chapple; and nephew, Michael Cateora. A private service will be held at a later time.
