Norma A. Chavez, 52 of Harlingen, Texas passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2020.
She is preceded in death by her father, Roberto Chavez Sr.; brother, Roberto Chavez Jr.; and parents-in-law, Ramon Piñon Sr. and Dominga Q. Piñon.
Norma is survived by her loving husband, Andy Piñon; mother, Higinia M. Chavez; seven siblings, Alicia Aguilera Vasquez, Raquel (Noe) Lopez, Ruben (Norma) Chavez, Rene (Erika) Chavez, Rosendo Chavez, Guadalupe (Jose) Moya, and Elena Chavez.
Visitation will begin Saturday, February 29, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. and will continue Sunday, March 1, 2020, from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
A chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 2, 2020, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home and burial will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are, Robert Chavez, Raymundo Chavez, Roel “Rollie” Chavez, Noe Lopez, Jesus Lopez, Jose Moya, Ramon Piñon, and Rene Chavez Jr.
