Armando Saldivar, 66 of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, in Harlingen, Texas. Armando was born on Rancho La Palangana. He was a lifetime resident of San Benito and last worked for Montoya Construction.
He is survived by his loving wife, Maria San Juana Saldivar; four daughters and two sons, Leticia Saldivar, Lidia Saldivar, Armando Saldivar Jr., Lucinda Ortega, Lizette, Saldivar, and Alejandro Saldivar; 18 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; seven siblings, Gloria Garcia, Ernesto Saldivar, Arnoldo Saldivar, Jaime Saldivar, Ramiro Saldivar Jr., Guadalupe Saldivar, and Enedelia Saldivar; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin Friday, January 24, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
A chapel service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home and burial will follow at Las Rucias Cemetery in Los Indios, Texas.
