Obituary of Jose Armadillo

Jose N. Armadillo, 88, of San Benito entered eternal rest on Monday, January 25, 2011 at Harlingen Medical Center In Harlingen, Texas. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. He was a longtime employee of Cameron County Maintaince Department. He was loving, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and a friend to everyone and will be missed and loved forever. Jose would assist all veterans groups for military Honors.
He is preceded in death by his wife Angela Negrete Armadillo; one brother Pedro Armadillo; his parents, Agustin and Maria Romero.
He is survived by his children Anita ( Ramon Trejo) Armadillo, Jose Manuel Armadillo, Martin (Sandra) Armadillo; one sister, Paula Romero (Rufino) Torres; grandchildren, Martin Ramon Trejo, Augustin Trejo , Veronica Trejo Ochoa, Jose Luis Trejo, Roberto Trejo, Antonio Trejio, Tiffany Armadillo, Martin Trejo Jr. Casssandra Armadillo, Franciasco Barrera; 12 great Grandchildren and other relatives.
Visitations will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 from 11:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.
Mass of Resurrection will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 02:00 P. M. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in San Benito. Committal service will follow at San Benito City Cemetery.
Military Honors are under the direction of American Legion Post 43 of Brownsville under the command of Commander Raul Leal.
Pallbearers Robert Trejo, Augustin Trejo, Martin Armadillo Jr., George De La Cruz, Larry Lopez and Gil Cantu.
