Marcos H. Benavidez, 76 of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019, in Harlingen, Texas. He was a resident of San Benito since 1975.
Marcos is survived by his personal friend, Maria R. Flores; daughter, Maria Trevino; brother, Jorge Benavidez; and extended family in El Salvador.
Visitation will begin Tuesday, December 17, 2019, from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at Iglesia Bautisa Emanuel, 101 US Hwy 281, Los Indios, Texas and burial will follow at Las Rucias Cemetery.
