Romualdo G. Nieto, 49, of San Benito, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at his residence surrounded by his loving wife and family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gustavo and Pastora Nieto. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Maria E. Nieto; his siblings: Gustavo, Feliciano, Ociel, Isabel, Miguel, Marcial, Bernarda, Candido, Veronica, Dulce Maria, and Gonzalo. He is also survived by his father and mother-in-law, Efrain and Alicia Peralez, brothers and sisters-in-law, as well as his loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2012 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Friday, March 9, 2012 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, with a holy rosary at 6:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Mass of resurrection will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 1:00 pm at St. Helen's Catholic Church in Rio Hondo, with committal service to follow to San Benito City Cemetery.
