Obituary of Carlos Z. Barrientos

Carlos Z. Barrientos, 89 of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Victoria Perez Barrientos; sons, Ramon, Carlos Jr., Ruben, and Martin; and his brother, Juan Barrientos, Ubencie Barrientos Jr. and Pepe Barrientos.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Abundia (Francisco) Rios, Rosa (Fernando) Gonzalez, and Raquel Barrientos; sons, Joe and Roel Lee; siblings, Guadalupe Barrientos, Manuela (Lorenzo) De La Fuente, Lydia Barrientos, Pablo Barrientos and Celia (Jose) Mendez; sister in law; Janie Barrientos, grandchildren, Francisco (Myra) Rios Jr., Johnathan Lee (Mandy) Rios, Michael Anthony (Charlene) Rios, and Adam Joel; and numerous great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin Friday, November 29, 2019, from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

A chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2019, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with burial to follow at San Benito Memorial Park.
