Obituary of Judy Marie Dodd

Judy Marie Dodd, 76 of Port Isabel, Texas, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019.

Judy was born in Austin, Texas. She was a single Super Mom to Janice and Joey. She worked for TXDot for 31+ years before retiring to care for her beloved mom. Later she began traveling with her “partner in mischief” AKA Janice, finally settling in Port Isabel, Texas. The beach called her name and caught her heart.

She is preceded in death by her son, Joey Dodd; parents, Louis Sr. and Marie Smith; and brother, Louis Smith Jr.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Janice Dodd; and her friends, Margaret T. Limon and Diana Homesley.

At Judy’s request there will be no funeral services.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Judy’s memory to American Cancer Research, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, or a charity of your choice.
