Obituary of Herminia E. Ortega

Herminia E. Ortega, 90 of Rio Hondo, Texas, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019.

 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Luis Ortega; two daughters, Idelaida Ortega and Norma Linda Ortega; and two brothers, Rito and Esteban Escamilla; and daughter-in-law, Elvira B. Ortega.

 

Herminia is survived by her 12 children, Lasaro, Rudell, Louisa, Arturo, Irene, Mario, Mariano, Elena, Hermelinda, Norma, Mauro, and Janet; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; four sisters and one brother.

 

Visitation will begin Wednesday, November 20, 2019, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

 

A chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2019, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with burial to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
