Obituary of Virginia Ruiz

Virginia Ruiz, 81 of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019.

She is preceded in death by her father, Meliton Resendez; mother, Paulina Resendez; brother, Ramiro Resendez Sr.; father-in-law, Juan Ruiz; sister-in-law, Gonzala Ruiz; and brothers-in-law, Jose Rodriguez and Enrique Deleon.

Virginia is survived by her husband, Pablo Ruiz; daughter, Lucilla Ruiz (Elias) Flores; son, Richard Ruiz; grandchildren, Tabitha (Francisco) Jalomo, Elias Paul Flores, Emily Flores, Corina Flores, Jonathon Olivarez, and Jayden Olivarez; three great grandchildren, McKenna Jalomo, Ocean Jalomo, and Francis Jalomo; and her siblings, Estella Rodriguez, Concepcion De Leon, Meliton (Susana) Resendez Sr., Delia (Juan)Aguilar, Mayra Resendez, Elida (Chito) Chavez, Rosalinda (Joseph) Martinez.

Visitation will begin Tuesday, November 19, 2019, from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at St. Theresa Catholic Church in San Benito, Texas with burial to follow at San Benito City Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Francisco Jalomo, Elias Paul Flores, Jonathon Olivarez, Jayden Olivarez, Elias Flores, and Richard Ruiz.
