Obituary of Arthur Wayne Wiltse Sr.

Arthur Wayne Wiltse Sr., 77 of Port Isabel, Texas, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019.

He served for 22 years and was honorably discharged from the United States Coast Guard. Arthur was a lifetime resident of Port Isabel, as well as a member of the V.F.W. Post 8791 and American Legion Post 498 of Port Isabel.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Wayne and Evelyn Minnie Wiltse; and one brother, Jerry Wiltse.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 55 years, Mary Janet Wiltse; son, Arthur Wayne (Rebecca) Wiltse Jr.; daughter, Katherine Marie (Gary) Cady; eight grandchildren, Kimberly Kolojaco, Steven Wiltse, Tiffany Wiltse, Levi Wiltse, Mary Castilla, Evelyn Cady, Weston Wiltse, and Jody Cady; four great grandchildren, Jeremiah Reyna, Elijah Reyna, Colvin Wiltse, and Lucyann Castilla; and three brothers, Bruce Wiltse, Keith Wiltse, and Roger Wiltse.

Family will be receiving visitors from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2019, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

A chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2019, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Steven Hyde. Burial will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas and military honors will be conducted at the graveside by the VFW Post 2035 of Brownsville.
