Obituary of Lilia De La Cruz

Lilia De La Cruz, 86 of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2019.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Yolanda Garcia; father, Gaspar Barela; and mother, Leonor Estrada.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Victor De La Cruz (Maria), Blanca Figueroa (Daniel), and Teresita Rodriguez (Antonio); son-in-law, Reynaldo Garcia; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and brother, Israel Barela.

Visitation will begin Monday, October 7, 2019, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

A chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with burial to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers are Victor De La Cruz, Rey De La Cruz,Robert Rodriguez, Danny Figueroa, Hiram Figueroa, Josiah Figueroa, Antonio Rodriguez, and Nathaniel Rodriguez.
