Obituary of Marisa Sauceda Gonzalez

Marisa Sauceda Gonzalez, 48 of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019.

She enjoyed spending time with her family especially with her nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Eusevio Hererra Lopez; grandmother, Ignacia Villalobos Escobedo; as well as her son, Miguel Angel Sauceda.

Marisa is survived by her daughters, Tiffany Cuellar, Meribella Mejia Sanchez, and Brianda Nicole Sauceda; mother, San Juana Gonzales; father, Felix B. Sauceda; siblings, Diana Sauceda, Felix Baldemar Sauceda Jr., Jose Guadalupe Escobedo, Juan Jose Vasquez, and Luis Vasquez; grandchildren, nieces, Jerrica Romero, Christina Cortez, Veronica Rodriguez, Carmen Sauceda, Stacy Sauceda, Vanessa Sauceda, Katy Sauceda, and J’Den Escobedo; nephews, Robert Romero, Daniel Romero, Joshua Morales, Jason Romero, Julian Cortez III, Felix Sauceda III, Jacob Gonzales, Jason Gonzales, Eleazar Escobedo, Janille Medina, Jacob Vasquez, Mathew Pompa, and Emanuel Rodriguez; as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, October 2, 2019, from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

A chapel service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2019, at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas, with burial to be held at 11:00 a.m. at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery located at 2520 Inspiration Rd, Mission, Texas.
