Obituary of Mia Rae Valdez
Mia Rae Valdez, 3, of Port Isabel, Texas, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2019.
She is preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, Guadalupe Zamora, Jose Jesus Molina and Maria Luisa Molina; paternal great-grandparents, Guillermo Garza, Esteban Valdez and Maria Valdez.
Mia is survived by her mother; Liana Zamora; father, Carlos Valdez; sister, Aryanna Melody Valdez; maternal grandparents, Robert and Zonia Teresa Zamora; paternal grandparents, Carlos and Alma Beda Valdez; maternal great grandfather, Juan Garza Zamora; paternal great-grandmother, Theresa Quesada; as well as several aunts, uncles, and other relatives.
Visitation will begin Thursday, September 12, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church located at 705 S. Longoria Street in Port Isabel Texas.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 13, 2019, at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church with cremation services to follow.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Carlos Valdez, Julio Valdez, Robert Zamora Sr., Robert Zamora Jr., and Luis Castillo.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mia’s memory to Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S. Longoria St., Port Isabel, TX 78578.
