Obituary of Clemente Guzman

Clemente Guzman, 79, of San Benito, Texas passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2019. He was a retired school bus driver with well over 30 years of service to Harlingen C.I.S.D.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Anastacio and Bonifacia Guzman; sister, Eva Guzman; and his brothers, Geronimo Guzman and Felix Guzman.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Felipa Guzman; children; Diana Gutierrez, Hilda (Rudy) Fuentes, Clemente Guzman Jr., Cristina (Armando) Villarreal, Enrique (Blanca) Guzman, Veronica Guzman, Fabiola (Hector) Esquivel, and Erica (George) De La Rosa; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; siblings, Lazaro (Carmen) Guzman, Jesus (Flora) Guzman, Adan (Cristela) Guzman, Joel (Yolanda) Guzman, Raquel Saenz, Rebecca Torres, Ruth (Gerardo Sr.) Cruz, and Noemi Zamora.

Visitation will begin Friday, September 6, 2016, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2019, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are, Christopher Guzman, Gavino Guzman, Kristian Guzman, Armando Villarreal Jr., Clemente Guzman III, and George De La Rosa Jr.
