Obituary of Raquel Cortez Flores

Raquel Cortez Flores, 86, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2019 in Olmito, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leopoldo Flores, Sr. and her son, Leopoldo Flores, Jr.

Surviving Raquel are two daughters: Maria Elena Abrego and Isabel (Alberto Cantu) Flores; four grandchildren: Israel Abrego, Marissa Abrego, Oscar Flores, and Omar Flores; one sister, Maria (Larry) Rodriguez; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2019, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Garcia Cemetery in El Ranchito, Texas.
