Obituary of Maria Eva Conde

Maria Eva Conde, passed away at age 74 on June 27, 2019 at her home in San Benito, Texas. Maria was born in San Benito on April 15, 1945 to Victorio Gonzales and Delia Gonzales. She was a devoted wife to Gilberto R Conde and they would have celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on July 1, 2019. Her greatest accomplishment was her unconditional love for her family and her most prized treasures were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Eva will be most remembered for her contagious love of life and sharing it with those closest to her.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her sister Minerva Martinez; and her brother Antonio Gonzales.

She is survived by her husband Gilberto R. Conde; her children: Debbie Bertolami, John K Conde, Gilberto (Rosie) Conde Jr., Victor (Aracely) Conde; her siblings: her twin sister, Elena Torres, Nena Bustamante, Ignacia Martinez, Raul Gonzales, Ramiro Gonzales, Victor Gonzales; her grandchildren: Stephanie    (Anthony) Sarullo , Kelly Hope Conde, Vincent (Crystal) Bertolami , Victoria (Jeff) Heath, Gilberto Conde, Amber Conde, Ashley Chavez , Axel Conde, Alejandro Conde, Daniel Conde, Nicolas Conde; and great-grandchildren: Margot Avery Bertolami and Isabella Conde.

Visitation will begin Monday, July 1, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

A chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with cremation to follow.
