Obituary of Mario Rangel Guzman

Mario Rangel Guzman, 80, of San Benito, Texas passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Marvelia Guzman; sister, Gloria Guzman; and brothers, Alfonso Guzman, Julian Homero Guzman, and Apolinar G. Velasquez.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving children, Mario (Sherry) Guzman Jr., Ismael Guzman, Belinda Guzman (Scott) Rosenberger, Leonardo (Damariz) Guzman, and Lizeth Reina Guzman; 14 grandchildren, Dannyela, Gabriella, Alycia, Amilia, Isaiah, Antonio, Christopher, Nicole, Andres, Eduardo, Melissa, Tyler, Hunter, and Alexa Guzman; and his siblings, Josefina G. Palacios, Zulema G. Reyes, Julian Homero Guzman, Flora G. Casas, Edelmira G. Sanchez, Rodolfo Guzman, and Ernesto Guzman.

Visitation will begin Sunday, June 2, 2019, from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

A chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 3, 2019, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with burial to follow at La Paloma Cemetery.
