Obituary of Samuel Leal III

Samuel Leal III, 50, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2019 in Harlingen,Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Leal Jr.; and sister Lucille De La Rosa.

Samuel is survived by three children: Samantha Joanne (Hector) Sanchez, Stasha Renaee Leal, and Samuel (Claudia) Leal IV; five grandchildren: Kyle Jose Stevens Jr., Alazae Renaee Stevens, Malachai Louis Stevens, Hector Leonel Sanchez Jr., and Emma Leah Sanchez; mother Severa Garcia; five siblings: Noe Leal, Liza De Leon, Daniel Leal, and Samuel Leal III, and Cesar Leal; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at St. Ignacio Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Esparza Domanski Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers: Samuel Leal IV, Hector Sanchez, Joseph Garcia, and Armando Garcia, Jr.
