Obituary of Gerardo Munoz Jr.

Gerardo “Jerry” Munoz Jr., 23, of Harlingen, Texas passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019. Jerry was a lifetime resident of Harlingen, Texas and a former graduate of Harlingen High School South.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Yesenia Moreno and Gerardo Munoz; siblings, Erik Munoz, Mia Munoz, and Mireya Munoz; his maternal grandmother, Irma Moreno; paternal grandmother, Alicia Munoz; his best friend, Chapo; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will begin Thursday, March 28, 2019, from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

A chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 29, 2019, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with interment to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Gerardo Munoz, Erik Munoz, Bernardo Munoz, Juan Ramon Medina, Lazaro Cardenas, Sean David Montemayor, Jacob Anthony Villarreal, and Nick Garcia.
