Dear family of Carolyn,
I saw this notice and my heart goes out to you. Please accept my sincere condolences. The untimely death of such a young person can be devastating, bringing great sadness, hurt, and pain.
Something that helped me at the time that my father died was reading what God’s Word says at 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4. Here our Father is described as the God of all comfort. He not only feels our pain but provides comfort during such stressfull times. And He promises that in the future, death will be no more and we will see our loved ones again (Revelation 21:3, 4; 1 Corinthians 15:26, 54, 55).
I hope that these few thoughts from the Scriptures will encourage you as much as they encouraged me.
