Obituary of Ricardo Flores

Ricardo Flores, 54, of Rio Hondo, Texas passed away Thursday, March 7, 2019 in Harlingen, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jesus Flores; grandson, Ricardo Flores III; brother, Daniel Flores, and sister, Leticia Cantu.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 35 years, Eva Alaniz Flores; children, Ricardo (Crystal) Flores Jr., Liliana (Miguel) Flores, and Jessica (Alejandro) Perez; four grandchildren, Ricardo Flores IV, Sofia Flores, Alejandro Perez Jr., and Mateo Perez; his mother, Lydia Flores; two sisters, Patty Flores and Sylvia Flores; and several nephews, nieces, and other relatives.

Visitation will begin Sunday, March 10, 2019, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

A chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 11, 2019, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with interment to follow at Rio Hondo Community Cemetery in Rio Hondo, Texas.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Noe Alaniz Jr., Miguel Alaniz, Tony Alaniz, Alejandro Perez, Robert Gil, and Michael Hinojosa.
