Lydia will be missed by me and my family. She was a tremendous artist that radiated her creativity into all aspects of her life. She was always sharing her talents and skills with those she met. Her paintings speak of her passions that she held within her being including her family, family outings, her childhood memories, and animals.
She was a generous person helping however and whenever the opportunity arose. I learned that while in the hospital she drew sketches for the nurses and the doctors. What a personal tribute to those medical personnel that were taking care of her! She reinforced in me that service to others is sharing in God's plan. Live her legacy by not missing your opportunities in helping those that cross your path whether family or stranger.
Every time you see a sunset or sunrise know that Lydia is helping the Lord arranging the beautiful colors that you see. See you in heaven, Lydia.

We send our deepest condolences to you all. We loved her so much and had such a great impact on our lives. She inspired us to paint. She taught me (Margie) to not give up your dreams no matter how long it takes to get there. She was a great mother and a friend. We know this time is tough for you all, we hope that the happy memories you have of her will help comfort you during this tough time. We love you all and send hugs your way. We'll be thinking of you all during these next few days. We wish we could attend the memorial.
Jess and I were remembering when she used to make 12 eggs for breakfast at the Baptist church before our youth meeting and how she'd have us talk about one thing we were grateful for that week. We've decided that we'd like to keep that tradition in our family.

I offer you my condolences for your great loss of Lydia.
I was one of the ladies that visited and prayed for her when she was in the hospital in San Antonio. We could tell she had a very sweet spirit about her, even in her pain. I’m sure she will be greatly missed.

I can’t say how sorry I am. I’ve known Lydia since elementary school and since then I have always admired her. Her beauty, her kind personality, her spirituality. She was so talented even in elementary school. I couldn’t help but be proud that she made a name for herself in the art world. Her legacy will live on in her art. Until we meet again my friend.
