Obituary of Mollie Huebner

PORT ISABEL - Mollie Huebner, 66 was unexpectedly called home by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 29, 2019 she died at home in Port Isabel, Texas after a brief illness. 

Mollie was born on July 26, 1952 to Joseph and Mary Ahlschier in Houston, Texas; she had two siblings, Susan Young and Allan Ahlschier.  She was predeceased by her sister, Susan and is survived by her brother Dr. Allan Ahlschier of Houston, Texas.

Mollie is also survived by her husband, Tom Huebner of Port Isabel, a retired lawyer, her daughter, Melissa Caramonta, and grandson, Anthony Caramonta, both of Fort Worth.  Tom and Mollie were married in 2005 at Christ’s Harbor Church in Laguna Vista, Texas.

Mollie graduated from Lamar High School in Houston in 1970, and attended UNO in New Orleans.  She later transferred to U of H in Houston where she majored in respiratory care and dental assistant.  She had a brief career as a dental assistant and as a respiratory nurse in Houston.

Mollie moved to Dallas in 1984 where she worked for several Fortune 500 companies as an executive assistant, computer software saleswoman and a customer service rep. 

In 1994 Mollie and her late husband, Tony Hildebrand, started a company, Heritage Systems, Inc. in the DFW area.  The company moved to Port Isabel in 2000 where she was in charge of sales and executive director of the company. Mollie enjoyed staying in touch with her many friends across the state and visited friends and family in Houston and the DFW area often.

Mollie and Tom enjoyed spending time in Zihuatanejo, Mexico and other destinations.  She was always ready to talk and counsel her friends with problems.  She leaves behind a host of friends and relatives who will miss her dearly.
