Fortunato Menchaca, 64, of Harlingen, Texas, entered into rest on Friday, February 3, 2012 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Raul Menchaca and Francisca Sandoval; and one brother, Bonuficio Sandoval.
He is survived by two daughters, Nancy (Stephen) Mutz and Rebecca (David) Cavazos; one granddaughter, Clarissa Menchaca; three brothers: Juan Menchaca, Santos Sandoval, and Beto Calderon; and other relatives.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, with a chapel service to begin at 2:00 pm at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
